Evan McCormick started skillful listening trainings while doing hospice work in New York over twenty years ago. While supporting the dying process he realized the power of how listening transforms and creates opportunities to communicate beyond the limits of identifying with pain. Evan’s passion to skillfully apply listening as a force for healing has included active listening, empathic listening and non violent communication. Currently he teaches transformative listening skills to increase metabolic health, intimacy within families and inspire work communities.
What makes Evan’s approach unique is his ability to include a rich background of clinical somatic techniques that emphasize communicating from what can be considered our mind, heart and gut centers. Three dynamic body centers that are powerful internal ally’s when communicating our needs.
